Ray Wallace, Jr. 87, of Cartersville, Georgia, formerly of Pataskala, passed away March 30, 2015 in Cartersville. Mr. Wallace was born in Derby, Ohio on May 18th 1927. He is a World War II veteran and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Wallace is a member of Pataskala Lodge #404, Eastern Star Wahneta Chapter #235, VFW Post 3761, Baltimore, Ohio. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Cartersville, Georgia. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Cartersville, Georgia. Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by wife, Phyllis Marie Wallace; daughter, Riesa Ann Wallace; parents, Ray and Ada Wallace and son-in-law, Richard Brewton. He is survived by his daughter, Anita Wallace Brewton of Cartersville; son, Charles (Rebecca) Wallace of Columbus; sisters; Martha Conley of Darby Dale, Virginia Bentley of Hilliard, Janice Potts of London; brothers, Robert Wallace of Columbus, Donald Wallace of Columbus; grandchildren, Brian (Virginia) Wallace of Columbus, Melissa (Dean) Salter of Columbus, Justin (MaryKay) Brewton of Cartersville, Georgia, Heather (Matt) Whittaker of Bainbridge, Georgia; great grandchildren, Marissa and Maria Salter of Columbus, Abigail Whittaker of Bainbridge, Carson Hitt of Cartersville and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 3rd from 6 - 8 P.M. at KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main St., Pataskala, OH 43062. Interment will be Saturday, April 4th at 10:30 A.M. at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. A memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Cartersville, Georgia on Sunday, April 12th at 2:00 P.M.
